EGFR, a member of the epidermal growth factor receptor (HER) family, is widely distributed on the surface of mammalian epithelial cells, fibroblasts, glia, keratinocytes and other cells. EGFR signaling pathway plays an important role in cell growth, proliferation, differentiation and other physiological processes. However, when EGFR is mutated, it leads to the continuous activation of EGFR signaling pathway, which leads to abnormal cell proliferation.
