How to use

In Vitro:

DL-Glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate is a time-dependent inhibitor of the cationic and anionic isozymes of aspartate aminotransferase purified from rat liver. DL-Glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate, an analogue of Glycerol 3-phosphate, enters the cell via the sn-glycerol 3-phosphate transport system and is bactericidal. DL-Glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate is an inhibitor of sn-glycerol 3-phosphate transport.

In Vivo:

In vivo, phosphatidylethanolamine and phosphatidylglycerol accumulation are inhibited to the same extent by the addition of DL-Glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate to a culture of E. coli.
