How to use
In Vitro:
Ferrous bisglycinate (25-200 μM; 2 h) does not affect the Caco-2 cells viability. Ferrous bisglycinate (25 μM; 2 h) increases ferritin content in the Caco-2 cells.
In Vivo:
Ferrous bisglycinate (500 mg/kg iron; p.o.) exerts a protective effect on colitis in mice.
